Qualifications
* Must possess a Medical degree
* Fully registered with MDCN and valid practicing license
* Proven experience in general medical practice with in-depth knowledge of diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitation principles and techniques
* Up-to-date knowledge of drugs appropriate for diagnosis and management and the side-effects they may present
Responsibilities
* The practitioner is responsible for examining and treating patients and directing the delivery of care throughout the practice
* This person must possess skills of the practice and be able to diagnose and apply proper treatment plans
* Conduct thorough examinations on patients to check and record their health
* Recognizes abnormal conditions and investigates to gather information about symptoms
* Reaches an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and individual medical history
* Prescribes medications and gives detailed instructions for administration
* Follows appropriate regulations
* Orders and interprets appropriate lab tests to gain more information for possible infections and abnormalities
* Orders and directs the preparation and administration of vaccines in accordance with state and federal vaccination plans
* Examines and treats injuries and refers patients to appropriate specialists when necessary
* Advises patients on their health needs
* Including but not limited to diet, exercise, and disease prevention measures
* Keeps updated records of patients’ illnesses, surgeries or other medical episodes
* be well-informed of advancements in medicine related to individual discipline and best practices by personal research efforts and attending seminars and conferences
* Must have basic computer skills, familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
